Ryanair launch new routes

Ryanair launched the first two of a number of new routes from Birmingham Airport this week. On Tuesday the budget airline launched flights to Barcelona (Girona) in north-eastern Spain, and yesterday a new service to Pisa in Italy was launched.
The two new routes are expected to bring an additional 80,000 passengers through the airport in their first year. They are the first of 20 new destinations due to be launched by Ryanair from Birmingham this year. Other new flight routes include Oslo, Stockholm, Marseille and Porto.
