Development director to leave

The business development director at Birmingham Airport, Peter Vella, is to leave after 12 years in the role. He plans to pursue new business opportunities, the airport said in a statement.
Mr Vella took up the role in 1997. He said: ‘I have thoroughly enjoyed working for the airport for the last 12 years. It is an excellent company with a first class reputation in the industry. I will miss working with a very talented team of colleagues, however, the time has come to move on and pursue new opportunities and challenges.’
