Flybe launch charity drive

Flybe has launched its annual month-long on-board charity drive to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. Last year, passengers raised over £100 000 during the collections that take place across Flybe’s entire network.
The airline’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mike Rutter, said: ‘Cancer is a disease that touches most of us in some way during our lives. The logistics in organising on-board collections on 13,242 flights this month is a huge undertaking, but we hope to beat last year’s figures and raise a record amount for this worthwhile cause.’
