Flybe to charge for using check-in desks

Flybe has announced it may charge passengers in the future for using its check-in desks. The airline plans to install self-service kiosksat UK airports to speed up the process checking in for flights, and is expected to charge those who prefer to use a check in desk.
A spokesman for Flybe said: 'Self-service check-in is increasingly popular with our passengers and, because of the increasing customer demand for a speedy service at our airports, we are installing more and more self-service kiosks.'
'We have long been on record as saying those passengers who want the personal service of a check-in desk or prefer to use one out of habit cost other passengers a lot of money. It is not unreasonable therefore that we will charge those passengers who choose to continue using desk check-in.'
