bmibaby have announced that they will launch flights between Birmingham Airport and Warsaw, Poland's capital city, this summer. The new 3 times weekly service will take off on May 27, with fares from £21.99 one way, including taxes and charges.
David Hodge, Commercial Director at bmibaby, said: 'This new route to Warsaw reinforces our commitment to growth and the tailoring of our route network to meet changing customer needs. The UK Polish community is a modern day phenomena and this new route will provide valuable links for friends and family in Poland and the Midlands region.'
'This new 3 times a week service, along with the existing 4 times a week service from East Midlands to Warsaw, sees bmibaby now serving the Polish capital with flights on a daily basis from the Midlands region throughout the summer.'
bmibaby is already the largest airline at Birmingham Airport, operating over 350 services a week to and from the airport this summer. The new route to Warsaw brings the total number of destinations from the airport to 24. They can be booked from today via www.bmibaby.com.
