Flybe launch hotels partnership

German online hotels portal HRS.com (standing for Hotel Reservation Service) has confirmed its first partnership with a UK airline. It has agreed a deal with regional budget airline Flybe to create mini web site flybehotels.com, which gives travel agents and passengers access to HRS’ 250,000 worldwide properties.
The mini website is promoted on Flybe's homepage, and future plans include developing mobile apps for the partnership. Jon West, HRS.com director UK and Eire, said: ‘We are extremely pleased to be linking with the UK’s number one domestic airline. The fit between the audiences of our companies is nicely matched.’
HRS’s current airline partners include Lufthansa, European Airlines and German Wings. To mark the launch of the Flybe mini site, every 10th person to book a hotel stay for May 2010 will receive £50 cash back.
