Train operator plans new airport rail links

A rail company wants to introduce new services linking Shropshire with Birmingham Airport. Arriva Trains Wales has said that it wants to operate services from Aberystwyth and Chester to the hub.
The company needs approval from the Office of Rail Regulation, but aims to start the route in December this year. If approved, the extension would give the county an hourly service to the airport.
