bmibaby expects busy half term

Half-term holiday bookings for bmibaby are looking good despite the credit crunch, the budget airline said. Take-up of seats for flights from Birmingham Airport to key destinations is almost 80% with over two weeks of bookings still to go, it reports.
bmibaby has also confirmed that it can help passengers affected by rival Ryanair's cancellations from Birmingham over the October half term to Alicante, Malaga, Prague, Murcia and Palma. Ryanair cancelled 25 return flights because strike action at plane maker Boeing delayed the delivery of new aircraft.
