More job losses expected
16.09.09
Up to 60 staff at Birmingham Airport employed by ground services company Servisair could lose their jobs. The company has confirmed that it is in talks with unions over the losses.
A Servisair spokesman said it had been affected by by the general downturn in aviation, the loss of Brussels Airlines and a reduction in Ryanair flights at the airport. The company hopes job losses can be achieved through voluntary redundancies and staff moving to other airports.
