Over 320,000 passengers are expected to pass through Birmingham Airport during the Christmas and New Year period, from December 17 until January 2. This includes 3000 set to jet off from Birmingham or fly in on Christmas Day.
The most popular destinations include the Canary Islands, Spain and city breaks to Paris, Amsterdam and Prague. Further afield Egypt’s Red Sea resorts and Morocco are popular with sun seekers, while Orlando a favourite for families.
