Alpha sell airport newsagent stores to WH Smith

Alpha Retail has announced the sale of its World News stores to WH Smith. The deal involves 23 stores at 11 UK airports, including at London City, Luton, Belfast International and Birmingham Airport.
Alpha CEO Peter Williams said: ‘The sale of World News to WH Smith is part of our strategic review of the business. This is designed to ensure that we concentrate on our strengths and maximise on our opportunities.'
