Three management appointments announced

Birmingham Airport - which this attracted the displeasure of its staff by freezing pay for its workforce - has announced 3 new senior management appointments. Martyn Lloyd and Jo-Anne Lloyd have been recruited as air services development director and head of brand respectively, whilst present head of communications John Morris has moved to the brand new position of head of government affairs.
Earlier this week airport CEO Paul Kehoe rejected union requests to defer the pay freeze until summer, saying there was no prospect of growth at the airport within the immediate future. But he said the long-time prospects at the airport had led to the management appointments.
Both Martyn Lloyd and Jo-Anne Lloyd joined from Luton Airport, where Martyn was business director and Jo-Anne Lloyd was marketing and communications manager.
