Emergency landing for bmibaby plane

A bmibaby flight from Belfast to Birmingham made an emergency landing after a crack was discovered in one of the side windows.
The Boeing 737 was given clearance for an emergency landing at Birmingham Airport as a precaution. The aircraft landed safely and the 76 passengers and 5 crew members left the plane normally.
A bmibaby spokesman said: ‘Flight WW1022 from Belfast to Birmingham Airport declared an emergency landing due to a cracked side window. The West Midlands Fire Service was put on alert, but the plane landed without any problems.'
