Amadeus users get full access to Flybe fares
21.01.08
Budget airline Flybe has signed a deal with global distribution system (GDS) Amadeus that will allow travel agents worldwide to access its full fare data. The deal is an extension of the previous contract, which did not include Flybe's lowest fares.
Stephen Hobday, Flybe head of sales, said: 'We have been bookable through Amadeus for many years. Now we are looking forward to seeing the results of this extended offering, particularly at such an exciting time for the airline as we integrate BA Connect and Loganair routes into our existing network.'
Following the successful acquisition of BA Connect, Flybe's new route network is 70% domestic UK, 20% European business and 10% European leisure destinations. The airline is the largest scheduled carrier at Birmingham, Manchester, Exeter, Southampton, Isle of Man, Belfast City and the Channel Islands. It also operates out of more UK airports than any other airline.
