Ryanair confirm 10th new route

As predicted earlier this week, Ryanair has announced a new winter route from Birmingham Airport to Prague. The budget airline announced nine routes when it launched its new base at Birmingham last week, but did not announce the Prague route, even though it appeared on the airport website and is also due to take off in October. We can only assume that it had not agreed slots in Prague at the time.
Ryanair’s Bridget Dowling said: ‘The people of the Midlands have a lot to celebrate this month as we announce a 10th new route from Birmingham. The new flight to Prague, which starts on October 26, will operate 5 times weekly on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. It will see Ryanair carry an additional 70,000 passengers a year to and from Birmingham and sustain a further 70 jobs in the area.’
