27.10.08
Paul Kehoe has taken up the post of chief executive at Birmingham Airport. He has worked in the aviation industry for 25 years, with his most recent role as chief executive of Bristol airport, having previously been the managing director of Luton and Belfast International airports during his eight year employment with TBI from 1997 to 2005.
Mr Kehoe said: ‘I have joined at a very exciting time, with the new International Pier under construction, an extension to the Multi Storey Car Park under way, and the recent opening of two new airport hotels. Added to that the recent news that US Airways will be joining us next year, and you can see why I am so enthusiastic.'
He takes up the role following the death of Richard Heard almost 2 years ago. Joe Kelly has been in charge of the airport in the interim period.
