bmibaby announce Cologne flights
29.03.10
bmibaby is to broaden its European network throughout the 2010-11 winter season with the start of services to Cologne, one of Germany's biggest cities, from Birmingham Airport. The new route will be introduced on October 31 and will run every day except Saturday.
The budget airline expects to carry approximately 33,000 passengers on the new route in the course of the winter months, with both business and leisure customers expected to welcome the connection. Julian Carr, bmibaby's commercial director, said: ‘We decided to start this new route after listening to passenger feedback and because we wish to expand the bmibaby brand into Germany. Cologne is a key business center and it will allow the region to develop strong business links with Germany.’
