Eastern switch terminals next week
29.05.08
Eastern Airways will switch its flights at Birmingham Airport from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 from next Wednesday (June 4). The change will mean the airline will be able to offer its passengers with a new dedicated fast track security channel so they can avoid queues at security in Terminal 1.
At Terminal 1 Eastern Airways passengers will check-in at desks 50-54 for its high frequency services to Newcastle and the Isle of Man. The airline also has a new sales and customer service desk opposite the check-in desks. The airline first started services from Birmingham in 2003 and offers 35 departures a week to Newcastle and the Isle of Man from the airport.
