Birmingham airport terminal overview
This is a quick, bite sized overview of the facilities at the two birmingham airport terminals. For more detailed information see out Terminal 1 (main) and Terminal 2 (eurohub) pages.
At both of birmingham airport's terminals
Both levels of each terminal have currency exchange bureaus and they remain open during flight times. There are many ATMs (cashpoints) located thourhgout the terminals. The two terminals have designated smoking areas, usually within the leisure and refreshments areas. A Spar convenience store is located on the ground floor of Terminal 1 for the convenience of arriving passengers. A left luggage facility is located on the first floor of Terminal 1, next to Boots (open: 05:00 - 23:00).
First aid facilities are available 24 hours daily. Prayer rooms are also provided at both terminals.

Terminal 1 has a large number of well-known UK outlets including WHSmith, Boots, Salisbury's and Thorntons.
The ground floor of Terminal 1 has an informative and interesting permanent exhibition, ‘The Aviation Experience’. It has interactive displays, a viewing area and amusement Area, as well as a bookshop and restaurant.

Terminal 2 has a duty free shopping complex on the first floor, as well as a food and drink precinct, including buffet restaurants, coffeshops, bars and a games room.
